bowel cancer

can someone please help, my mum has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer. I'm only 13 and i dont want her to die. She has to start chemo tommrow. Someone said that bowel cancer is the 2nd most common to dying, is this true?? HELP!

So sorry your going through this, it's scarey but a lot can be done for bowel cancer. Chemo can help a lot, even help to either cure or stop it growing. Try to be positive, talk to everyone here, talking helps a lot. All the best. X
